Food for Thought - Autumn 2024

Food For Thought Sessions in King's Lynn
These are returning to London Road Methodist Church in King’s Lynn on Tuesday 17th September at 9.30am for twelve weeks, each with a different theme. Sessions last two hours, but people are free to come later or leave early if they wish, and people do not need to attend all of the sessions. Professionals and support workers are also welcome if you would like to bring clients. Watch live cooking demonstrations, exchange ideas, embrace mealtimes and enjoy plenty of tasters prepared and cooked by a professional chef.
- Free to attend.
- Family friendly - children welcome.
- Exchange ideas, money saving tips and recipes.
- Weekly taste testers - can you guess the budget item?
- Taste food cooked by a professional chef.
- Come together within the community and make friends.
- Access the team from Lily for further support on coping with the current cost of living crisis.
The sessions will include nutrition, shopping on a budget, cooking for one, special diets, food for families and more. Recipe cards will be available to take home so attendees can recreate what has been demonstrated each session.
