The updated Code reflects changes in the housing sector and puts a stronger focus on customer experience, fairness, respect, accountability and professionalism.
The Code sets out how Board Members, colleagues and involved residents are expected to behave when they represent Freebridge or help shape services and decisions.
It is there to make sure people act with integrity, treat others fairly and respectfully, and keep customers at the heart of what they do.
Compared with the previous 2022 Code, the updated version places a stronger emphasis on:
Listening to residents and considering the impact decisions have on customers.
Fairness, respect, empathy and inclusive behaviours.
Professional behaviour when working with customers and visiting customers in their homes.
Transparency, accountability and learning from feedback.
Challenging stigma associated with residents and social housing.
Protecting information and using digital systems responsibly.
Continuous learning and improvement.
We want this Code to reflect the standards of behaviour that matter most to our customers.
Your feedback will help us understand whether it reflects how you expect Freebridge colleagues, Board Members and customer representatives to behave, and whether anything should be added, changed or strengthened before it is adopted.
What you tell us will help us make sure the final Code reflects the values, culture and behaviours customers expect from Freebridge.
