Freebridge Community Housing - Reasonable Adjustments Policy: What You Need to Know
At Freebridge, we believe everyone should be able to access our homes and services fairly. People face different challenges - some visible, some not - and our Reasonable Adjustments Policy exists to remove barriers so no one is left at a disadvantage.
What Are Reasonable Adjustments?
A reasonable adjustment is any change that helps you use our services or live comfortably in your home. This could include things like:
Information in large print, braille or Easy Read
A British Sign Language interpreter
Longer or flexible appointments
Home visits instead of office appointments
Grab rails, visual doorbells or other small property adaptations
Support to fill in online forms or alternative ways to contact us
You don’t need to use special language - if something is difficult, just tell us. We’ll take it from there.
Why This Matters in Our Community
North and West Norfolk has an older population, higher disability rates and mixed digital access. That means many local residents may need small adjustments to stay included. Our policy ensures we think ahead, act fairly and remove barriers wherever we can.
Tell Us What You Think – Please Fill In Our Survey
