Our Community Development Policy sets out how we work with tenants, residents, and local organisations to help communities thrive.

The policy focuses on:

• Championing local voices through initiatives like Community Voices sessions and the Customer Insight Panel, ensuring everyone has the chance to shape what happens in their area.

• Reducing isolation in rural and coastal areas by tackling barriers such as digital exclusion and access to services.

• Creating lasting impact, with every project designed to be sustainable and community-led.

• Encouraging intergenerational connections, from youth empowerment to older adult wellbeing.

• Building partnerships with councils, schools, health services, and local groups to make sure our work is relevant and effective.

• Measuring what matters, focusing on wellbeing, engagement, and community satisfaction - not just numbers.
